In Vastu, the placement of the kitchen and its appliances plays a vital role in making a Vastu compliance home. As per Vastu In the kitchen we play with fire. It must place in Agney Kone i.e South-East corner of the house as S-E is the Agni Korner of the house.

The 2^nd best location to place the kitchen is the North-West corner of the house.

As it is Vaayu Kone. It is the 2^nd best option to place kitchen. As the diagram shows the locations of the Kitchen Placements in Vastu.

PLACEMENT OF APPLIANCES IN KITCHEN:-

Besides the location of the kitchen in house it is also very important to be kept in mind that all the necessary appliances must be placed on the best location.

For this Vastu explain the position /placements of appliances in kitchen.

Hob / Burner/Chulah must be kept in S-E corner of the kitchen as it is known as Agni Kone.
Sink must be placed in N-E corner of the kitchen as its is known as Jal Kone.
Fridge must be placed in N-W corner as it is known as Vaayu Kone.
Burner must be placed in such a way so that we face East or North side while cooking food. It enhance the taste of the food and advantages of food. And help to make good health of ladies in home as they uses kitchen most of the times.
Kitchen never combines with toilet or bathroom.

Avoid These Things for Kitchen Vastu:-

Avoid kitchen directly under or above pooja/prayer room/staircase.
Avoid kitchen directly under or above bedroom.
Do not have main door of kitchen in any corners; place it in East, North or West wall.
Never face west while cooking as this leads to severe health problems to the cook.
Avoid black color for kitchen wall and flooring.
Avoid keeping refrigerator in North-East direction.
Kitchen in South-West leads to clashes among family members.
A kitchen in North-West direction is acceptable but it leads to increase in monetary expenditure.

Must Do In Kitchen Vastu:-

As per vastu we should place Fridge In North West corner of the kitchen.
As per vastu Place platform of the kitchen in East and South-East corner.
As per vastu Use North-East to set up wash-basin or sink in the kitchen.
As per vastu Use North-East or North side to keep drinking water and utensils for drinking water.
As per vastu optionally place a dining table in North-West or West side of kitchen.
As per vastu Put cooking gas burner or stove in South-East corner of kitchen, make sure that it is a few inches away from wall.
As per vastu Place platform of the kitchen in East and South-East corner.
As per vastu Provide “L” shaped platform, next to the kitchen’s main platform, near South wall and use this platform for keeping and operating microwave ovens, mixer/grinder etc.
